1. Who we are

Ted-Bot ("we", "us", "our") operates the Ted-Bot Store at store.ted-bot.space as part of the wider Ted-Bot platform. We are the data controller for personal data processed in connection with Store purchases and account linking.

Important: The Store is only available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not permit purchases by anyone under 18.

2. Information we collect

When you use the Store, we may collect:

• Account information: Ted-Bot user ID, username, display name, email address, Discord ID, and linked in-game username (IGN) from your Social / Portal profile.
• Order and payment information: products purchased, order IDs, amounts, currency, payment status, Stripe checkout session references, and optional notes you submit at checkout. Full card numbers are processed by Stripe and are not stored by us.
• Delivery information: server scope, reward type, fulfilment logs, and timestamps needed to deliver Digital Goods to the correct player.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies used for authentication, security, and preferences.
• Support communications: messages you send about orders, delivery issues, or account problems.

3. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

• Authenticate you and link purchases to the correct Ted-Bot account and IGN;
• Process payments and fulfil orders;
• Provide order history and customer support;
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised transactions;
• Maintain Store security and improve reliability;
• Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
• Send service-related notifications where necessary (for example, about a failed delivery or account issue).

4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract: to process your order, deliver Digital Goods, and provide account-linked services you request.
• Legitimate interests: to secure the Store, prevent fraud, analyse usage, and improve the platform (balanced against your rights).
• Consent: for optional analytics cookies and certain non-essential communications where required.
• Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information under law.

5. Sharing your information

We share information with:

• Stripe: payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy);
• Hosting and infrastructure providers: under contracts that protect your data;
• Discord: where purchase receipts or support workflows use Discord integrations you are part of;
• Game-server systems: to deliver rewards to your linked IGN;
• Law enforcement or regulators: when required by law or to protect users and the platform.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some service providers (including Stripe and Discord) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or adequacy regulations where available.

7. Data retention

We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to fulfil purchases, handle support requests, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Account data is retained while your Ted-Bot account remains active, subject to wider platform retention rules and deletion requests.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (login, session security, cart state) and, with your consent, optional analytics. 9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate data;

10. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including secure hosting, access controls, and payment processing through Stripe. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risk and respond to incidents promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Where appropriate, we will provide additional notice through the platform.
